Senior Adult Ministries
ZUMC Fun Lovers are committed to the spiritual growth and fellowship of senior adults. We exist to reach out to the senior adults in our church and the community and believe that one is never too old to learn and to be a vital part of both.
The Fun Lovers are a vibrant group of retired men and women from diverse backgrounds interested in enjoying Christian fellowship. We meet monthly for lunch, an overnight trip, or an afternoon outing on the 2nd Tuesday of each month.

More Than Just Fun
The Fun Lovers have volunteered at the M.E.R.C.I. Center in Goldsboro This center is used to provide mission and ministry programs that meet people's physical and spiritual needs. The function of M.E.R.C.I. is disaster preparedness, response, recovery, and outreach. Additionally, for the past two years, Fun Lovers has been a part of the Stop Hunger Now, Million Meals program, bagging dried food to be used overseas.
Our special projects for 2008 are The Zebulon Boys and Girls Club and Help Hospitalized Veterans (HHV).
